Peel the carrots, cut into slices or cubes and put into a pan. Add lean oil, a pinch of sugar, salt to taste and a coffee cup of water. Stew on low heat until the liquid evaporates and the carrots start to roast.Ready carrots can be sprinkled with finely chopped parsley.
