2/3 glasses of water, one glass of rum or vodka, 2 tablespoons of fine sugar and 400 g of flour kneaded, roll thinly, cut into strips, make a cut in the middle of each strip and unscrew one end through this hole; or cut a round glass cake with a glass, cut the edges with a sharp knife in 4-5 places, fold 3-4 together, press firmly into the middle, fry in a small saucepan in 200 or 400 g of red hot lean oil, 3-4 pieces at once; as soon as they are browned, taken out and put on a sieve, on paper, sprinkled with powdered sugar.
