From the berries squeeze the juice. The mash is poured with hot water, brought to a boil and boiled under a gentle boil for 15-20 minutes, then decocted through a decoction. Part of the broth is cooled and diluted in it with potato starch, the rest of the broth is added with sugar, citric acid and brought to a boil. Stirring, pour into the diluted starch and again bring to a boil. Slightly cooled, pour in the elderberry juice, stir and cool.

Water 800-900 g, elder 100-125 g, sugar 4-5 st. spoons, starch 4 teaspoons, citric acid 1/4 tsp (can be cooked without it).
